Special Projects

		The Tower of the Americas is a landmark that is well known in Texas and throughout the United States. It was built for the 1968 Hemisfair and has remained a prominent and recognizable part of the San Antonio skyline for many years. In February 1996, the Tower underwent a major refurbish and restoration. The communications towers, which have rested atop the Tower for many years, needed to be replaced.

Ransor was chosen from among numerous competitors as the one to remove and replace the old tower. You probably can't see the Ransor quality in the recently constructed antenna tower. But we thought you still might like to know that it's there.
